Murals

Murals can be used to enliven and customize a personal or commercial space. Jordan has 20 years of experience creating murals for non-profits, businesses, and private homes.

Murals can be done in a wide variety of styles. Jordan will work with you directly to determine what will suit your space. Pricing is typically based on complexity and size, and ranges between 20.00-50.00 square foot. Many styles can be done in a way that makes a custom mural more affordable than wallpaper or tile.

Richmond Village Bakehouse,
Richmond, Ontario, Canada

The Richmond Fox

When Paul and Karen began working on the Richmond Village Bakehouse in one of the town’s oldest Victorian homes, it only made sense to include a fox as one of their art pieces.

The gorgeous home is ornate from head to toe, but due to fire code the bakery required that two antique doors be replaced with ugly fire-proof doors. The murals that Jordan created have improved the look of these safety features while honoring the atmosphere of the establishment.

Antique hardware homage

The Richmond Village Bakehouse is in one of the town’s oldest Victorian homes, and you’ve never seen details like it. Each door sports hand-chiseled hardware, with each door sporting a unique design.

The gorgeous home is ornate from head to toe, but due to fire code the bakery required that two antique doors be replaced with ugly fire-proof doors. For one of these doors, Jordan created this mural as a fun background for instagram photos and other fun in the rentable party room.

Trompe l’oiel doors for heritage house

On the backside of the two fire doors installed in the beautiful Richmond Village Bakehouse, Jordan imitated the moulding work of the original antique doors that were replaced to meet fire code. Both these doors are frequently overlooked, as most visitors think they are the original three-dimensional doors. In fact, these are a visual effect and are completely flat to the touch!
